Three Noonan Lance Boyer & Banach LLP (NoonanLance) founding partners have been named “2017 Super Lawyers.” David J. Noonan, James R. Lance and Micaela P. Banach are identified among outstanding attorneys across the country based on a selection process that incorporates independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations. Honors include:
“San Diego Super Lawyers, Business Litigation”:
David J. Noonan and James R. Lance were recognized for their work in business litigation, which includes commercial law and contract disputes. Noonan has been named a “Super Lawyer” for 10 years, and Lance has received the honor for seven years.
“San Diego Rising Stars, Business Litigation”:
Micaela P. Banach was named a “Rising Star,” an honor bestowed to candidates 40 years old or younger, with recipients representing no more than 2.5 percent of attorneys in California. She has been recognized since 2015.
Super Lawyers selected no more than five percent of attorneys in each state, who have achieved a high degree of recognition from their peers based on personal observation of their professional performance and accomplishments.
Honorees were selected on a state-by-state basis using a multi-phase selection process. Candidates were nominated and evaluated within a specific practice area by their peers and researched by an attorney-led research staff. Each candidate was evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement, including experience, special licenses and certifications, and community service.
