Noonan Lance Boyer & Banach LLP (NoonanLance) announced today partners David J. Noonan, James R. Lance, Ethan T. Boyer, Micaela P. Banach and Genevieve M. Sauter have received awards from Best Lawyers’ 30th edition of Best Lawyers in America®, the legal profession’s most respected peer-review publication. Since the firm was founded in 2016, Best Lawyers has included NoonanLance attorneys every year as some of the nation’s leading attorneys.
David J. Noonan has earned a spot on the Best Lawyers list since 1997 for his diverse and impressive portfolio in antitrust law, bet-the-company litigation, commercial litigation and legal malpractice law – defendants. He holds six “Lawyer of the Year” awards from Best Lawyers. Noonan was commended again for outstanding work this year and was named “Lawyer of the Year” for legal malpractice – defendants.
James R. Lance has been recognized again this year by Best Lawyers for his exceptional work in commercial litigation, real estate litigation, construction litigation and legal malpractice defense. Lance is a founding partner at NoonanLance, focusing on commercial litigation for plaintiffs and defendants, with an emphasis in real estate disputes. Lance also represents individuals in serious personal injury and wrongful death claims. He is an experienced trial lawyer and currently is the vice president of the San Diego Chapter of the American Board of Trial Attorneys. Best Lawyers first acknowledged Lance 11 years ago, and he has been on their list every year since 2013.
Ethan T. Boyer’s first time on the Best Lawyers list was in 2015 and he has continued to be named a Best Lawyer in commercial litigation through 2024. He is a founding partner at NoonanLance and works in commercial litigation where his goal-oriented spirit has helped resolve complex disputes.
Micaela P. Banach, a founding partner at NoonanLance, was first recognized by Best Lawyers on the 2023 list in the commercial litigation and litigation real estate categories. She was recently on the “Top 25 Southern California Women Super Lawyers – San Diego Edition: 2023” list.
Genevieve M. Sauter was first named to the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® list in 2021 for commercial litigation and has held her place through 2024. Notably, in 2021, she was a “Best Lawyers: Women in the Law” honoree.
